Founded in 2004, Kania Baterias, based in the city of Rafard/SP, began its manufacturing activity by producing and selling car batteries for the aftermarket. Our batteries are currently sold under the KKondor, Fort Light and Dutra brands.
Environmental awareness is one of our premises, and always bearing that in mind, we work at all stages of manufacturing, marketing and recycling batteries. With this ideal, the company was designed and built up by meeting all the requirements of the São Paulo State Environmental Agency (CETESB), with a modern monitoring and environmental treatment system.
To keep up with the technological development of the sector, Kania has been investing in market research, ongoing improvement of products, processes and services, high-performance equipment, and employee training.
With continuous improvement in mind, the company implemented and certified the ISO9001:2008 quality management system in 2013. That same year, we obtained compliance certification from INMETRO for our products.
In 2017, in order to demonstrate to our customers that the company remains committed to its premises of producing high-quality batteries with environmental awareness, we recertified the quality management system, migrating to the new ISO9001:2015 version. Additionally, the company has implemented and certified the ISO14001:2015 environmental management system.
Continuing with the planned expansion of the company and the markets where it operates, in 2020 Kania started selling motorcycle batteries and began exporting to Mercosur countries.
